Rohit sharma clear yo-yo test

India batsman Rohit Sharma is set to join the Indian team for the long tour of United Kingdom after comfortably clearing the 'Yo-Yo' test on Wednesday. Last week, captain Virat Kohli and MS Dhoni along with other players, who are in India squad for long United Kingdom tour, had cleared the Yo-Yo Test, save Ambati Rayudu. In a tweet he wrote, “Dear… it’s no ones business how & where I spend my time.I’m entitled to have time off as long as I follow protocol.Let’s debate some real news shall we…” in response to his social media post where he was in Russia for the FIFA World Cup as part of a promotional activity. Additionally, the opener hit back at some sections of the media who claimed he had initially failed the test. What is Yo-Yo test??

The Yo-Yo Endurance Test (continuous) is a variation of the beep test, part of the yo-yo test series developed by the Danish soccer physiologist Jens Bangsbo. There are two versions of this test: Level 1 & 2 (a beginners and advanced level). The test involves running continuously between two points that are 20 m apart from side to side. Yo-Yo endurance test has become the major fitness assessment practice in the Indian cricket team selection process. Yo-Yo test is actually designed for the players of sports like football. rugby and cricket too. Unlike field running athletes, these players will have time to recover at regular intervals in between the game. For instance, a batsman will have his time to recover after completing a quick single or a sprinted 2 or 3. Likewise, a bowler will have his time to recover after every ball by walking back and also, after every over and spell. India rolled over Afghanistan twice in the day and wrapped up the historic Test match inside two days at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. There was an enormous gulf between the World number 1 Test side and the debutants and the visitors might have definitely got the feel of the longest format of the game. However, Ajinkya rahane ‘s gesture to call the opposition players for a group photo with the trophy won the hearts of the fans as it summed up the relation between the two countries.

India batsman Rohit sharma  became the first Indian cricketer to throw the ceremonial 'first pitch' for Seattle Mariners in Major League Baseball on Sunday. Rohit was invited by Seattle Mariners to throw the ceremonial 'First Pitch' at Safeco Field, home ground of Seattle Mariners in the United States. Rohit Sharma, who was accompanied by his wife Ritika Sajdeh, took to Twitter and shared a photo.
